SURFACE CONDITION
Our stainless steel spring wires are distinguished by their surface status, which are bare wire, Ni coating. They can also be divided in to bright surface, dull surface and semi-bright surface. The customer can make choice according to exact requirement.
MACHANICAL PROPERTY
Generally we produce stainless steel spring wire in accordance with the special specification of JIS WPB, JIS WPA, WPC & ASTM. Products of special specifications are available when customers require.
PRODUCT GRADE
We can supply several kinds of stainless steel spring wire with the following chemical composition:
Type 302/304 are the most popularly used in the manufacture of springs because of their outstanding mechanical property and corrosion resistance. Type 316 is recommended for the manufacture of spring which require a particularly high corrosion resistance and non-magnetic property, but it’s mechanical properties are somewhat inferior to those of Type 302/304. Type 631J1/631 are used for heat resistant spring and the finished spring has the highest strength among all stainless steel alloys after heat treatment, but poorer corrosion resistance than Type 302/304.
